I have been training and leading other people in some capacity or another for over 30 years. Leaders are trainers, and even without a management title, trainers lead. I have had opportunities to work with others from around the world both in my travels and when they have come to the States. I always enjoy learning something new, but sharing what I have learned with others is one of my greatest joys.
I started this blog to share some of what I have learned about leadership and training with others. It is my plan to post something twice each month on the second and fourth Mondays (okay sometimes it might be Sunday or Tuesday). The part I’ve enjoyed about blogging the most is the feedback I get from those who read what I wrote. Whether you shoot me a message here or on LinkedIn I am interested in your thoughts. I am willing to entertain ideas for future blogs.
I have completed a successful career in law enforcement and continue to serve. I attempted to find some part-time work upon my retirement, but my current boss was very insistent I work for him full-time. I have also had the pleasure of being asked to work for another police department with a focus on investigations and training. Again another offer I couldn’t resist. I have also served over 31 years in the military, both active and reserve component. On the military side of my life, I started working in supply then transitioned to combat arms. I supervised instructors at a military school until I was asked to return to logistics as a senior coach and mentor.
My goal is to get to a place in life where I can focus and sharing what I have learned with others. If you happen to be looking for someone to come to your organization and provide some training on leadership, ethics or training your trainers, shoot me an email: email@example.com, or fill out the form below.
